The book that I chose to read was  Thinking, Fast and Slow, by Daniel Kahneman. 1) What was the general theme or argument of the book? The general theme of the book was analyzing two different modes of thinking; system 1, which our quicker and more emotional size of thinking, and system 2, which is more analytical and logical. 2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? Reading Kahneman's book made me analyze the way that I think about things in a way that I hadn't before. Our system 1 of thinking is always taking over subconsciously, and is often 'lazy,' because we want to make quick judgements and decisions even when we don't have all information available. I also realized that most of my memories are based on the emotional side of my experiences. I believe that my prototypical customer is a young, mid-20s person working in their first job. They have a busy and fast paced life but they make room for staying fit and they want to have a healthy lifestyle. They are just starting to become interested in learning how to cook better for themselves. They live alone in an apartment with no pets except a beta fish. They make a point to listen to podcasts on the car ride to work everyday in their white toyota camry. They go out about once every other week with friends.

Alternative evaluation: The product that I provide is more of an added convenience that the customers would not have had beforehand. Since it serves a couple purposes such as planning out grocery lists and saving money, this would be replaced by doing those things manually, so price would not matter to them.  I think my segment is more likely to buy things online because I am targeting younger people/people that use technology and apps. I think they will determine if a purchase is a good idea if they realize that they have been using it and it's benefitted their life in some way.
